This journey offers a close look at local ethnic communities, traditional stilt houses, and the peaceful rhythms of mountain life, with an overnight stay surrounded by nature. With an experienced local guide, Pu Luong reveals its most authentic and untouched beauty, far from the crowds.

Itinerary
07:00 AM: Pick up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area. Expect a 4-hour drive without heavy traffic.
10:00 AM: Stop for a 15-minute rest break halfway through the journey. Enjoy picturesque village landscapes along the way.
12:00 PM: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Check-in at your reserved room (standard check-in time 14:00) and relax at your own pace.
01:30 PM: Transfer to the Meeting Point and commence a 10km trek.
02:30 PM: Explore Kho Muong, an isolated village surrounded by a valley and the largest cave in Pu Luong, using off-road trails via streams and mountains.
04:00 PM: Depart from the village and head to scenic Bang village to discover remote houses with beautiful terrace fields.
05:00 PM: Return to the hotel and relax.
05:30 PM: Optional cooking class for those interested.
07:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious dinner followed by free time to relax.
07:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast and prepare for the day’s activities.
08:45 AM: Transfer to Ban Cong and start a 2.5km walk. Cross a suspension bridge to reach one of Pu Luong’s most scenic villages, where the largest stream flows through. Along the river, admire stunning landscapes, rice fields, and village life. Seek for the giant water wheels, a remarkable creation of Vietnam’s mountainous ethnic minorities.
09:15 AM: Arrive at Chieu Lau dam and embark on a bamboo rafting experience. Paddle the raft upstream with locals and have fun.
10:00 AM: The raft lands on the other side of the river. Embark on another 2km trek through rice fields and villages, completing a loop trail.
11:30 AM: Meet the transfer at the main road and return to your hotel for check-out. Enjoy lunch.
01:00 PM: Prepare for the bus journey back to Hanoi.
06:30 PM: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi, barring heavy traffic. End your trip!

It is recommended to wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothing and sturdy hiking shoes. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.
There is no strict age limit, but you should have a reasonable level of fitness as there is some moderate trekking involved.
Mobile signal is available in most areas, but Wi-Fi may be limited or unavailable at some homestays. This is a great chance to unplug and enjoy nature!
At the end of the day’s adventure, you will be transferred back to your hotel, prepare for the bus journey back to Hanoi by 2:30 PM.
